COGITO | Sharon Bätge | Psychologist

Sharon Bätge holds a Master of Science degree in Psychology with a major in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Düsseldorf in 2017 and has been working as a psychologist at the COGITO Center since then.

Due to her interest in the complex interaction of brain, behavior and experience, she has focused on neuropsychological matters since the beginning of her studies. She was already active in various research contexts and in the psychological-clinical field, and was thus able to intensively promote her education within the framework of various neurological disorders such as epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease as well as psychiatric disorders. Benefiting from her comprehensive method-oriented training, she has profound knowledge of statistical scientific procedures.

At the COGITO Center, one of her tasks includes the implementation of neuropsychological tests as a psychologist. In addition to diagnostical assessments, she also takes a great interest in therapeutic methods and personal care, which is why she supports patients as a training instructor in cognitive and neuroeducation training. This led to her specialization in neuropsychological diagnostics and neuroeducation in patients with multiple sclerosis, which she investigates and develops further as part of her doctoral thesis.
